During a live show broadcasted on Fadak TV, His eminence Sheikh al-Habib stressed the importance for the Islamic nation as a whole to realise that its consummate salvation from oppression, tyranny, evil and all tribulations can only be attained by pledging allegiance to the legitimate leader appointed by Allah the most exalted and the ultimate successor of the holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his pure family), the twelfth Imam of the Ahlulbayt al-Hujja Ibin al-Hassan al-Mehdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance).
His eminence said that the revolutions that have recently pervaded the Arab world might not necessarily bring about better results rather they might worsen even further; the nation will not be satisfied, so long as it is turning away from the legitimate caliph.
His eminence has hoped that the mass of Muslims would rise to pledge allegiance to the awaited legitimate caliph so that he can reappear and take over the command of the nation soon, God willing. The reappearance of Imam al-Mehdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) is certainly contingent upon us! This is because if the nation reaches a consensus on pledging allegiance to the Imam and accepts him as caliph and ruler, he will certainly reappear to fulfil his mission inshAllah.
Sheikh al-Habib has called on the whole of the Islamic nation to gather in demonstrations everywhere and call out loudly: "The people want the reappearance of the Imam", as an expression of loyalty and allegiance to the Imam of our time (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and preparatory step towards supporting him as well as handing over power to him instead of the tyrants that have been lying heavily on the chest of the nation for so long.
As the occasion of the auspicious birth of Imam al-Mehdi (peace be upon him) is approaching, on the 15th of the month of Sha'ban, a number of faithful believers have responded to Sheikh al-Habib's call, raising the flag of the servants of al-Mehdi (peace be upon him) while crying loudly: "The people want the reappearance of the Imam". The following are some footage of the demonstration produced by Fadak TV.
