Khoddam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him) organisation is pleased to announce to the Islamic nation the good news that Fadak satellite channel will, God willing, begin test transmissions tomorrow – the 11th of Shawwal 1431, 20th of September 2010 – after which it will officially begin full operations two days later.

On this occasion, Khoddam al-Mahdi organisation would like to express its gratitude towards all the believers, may Allah grant them goodness, who fulfilled Sheikh al-Habib’s call last month of Ramadan and donated to help launch Fadak satellite channel, despite the attempts made by the opponents to prevent them.

The organisation hopes that the respected believers will continue to contribute financial support to the channel. This will help to extend the channel’s distribution to Europe, America, Australia and the rest of the world by signing contracts with other providers. It will also help, with the help of the Almighty God, to keep the channel on air.

The launch of Fadak satellite channel is a revolutionary step in response to the constant requests for a modern TV channel that does not play favourites at the expense of the truth. The channel was named after the land of Fadak which was gifted to the mistress of all women, Lady Fatima al-Zahra, (peace be upon her) by the Almighty Allah. When Abu Bakr son of Abu Quhafa seized power (at Saqifah), he usurped the land of Fadak soon after the martyrdom of the holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure family).

The main objective of Fadak TV is to purify the Islamic tradition of all corruptions and misconceptions and guide the nation back to the straight path of the Prophet and his successors from his pure progeny (peace be upon them).  As it is vital for people to understand that the Islam brought by the holy “Prophet and his pure progeny peace be upon them” is completely different than the Islam brought by the so-called “rulers” who established the religion with violence, terrorism and destruction.

It might be worth pointing out that the channel will be broadcasting a variety of different series of lectures by his eminence Sheikh al-Habib, amongst which is a series titled “How was Islam forged?” which was specifically recorded for the channel. This series will present a historical scientific research on how the “counterfeit” version of Islam was initially established and the figures that played a major role in founding it.

Another detailed series titled “The justice of the companions ‘lie’” will be also broadcasted on the channel to scientifically refute the Bakris theory of the so-called justice of companions in accordance to historical and biographical evidences.

The channel will also broadcast a series of ethical lectures titled “Developing the future trait”, revival lectures titled “Liberating the Shia Muslim” and hawza lectures on al-Qawaid al-Fiqhiyyah (i.e. methodology of Fiqh), Ilm al-Dirayah (i.e. the study of transmission of Hadith), Ilm al-Riwayah (i.e. the study of Hadith), Ilm al-Rijal (i.e. science of men), and many more.
